Battle Beans 2P

Battle Beans 2P is a platform shooter. You can change hats, which gives you different abilities, and you can change guns, which obviously have differering effects. 

Using triangle on a PS controller or Y on an Xbox controller, you can change your skin. 

The campaign is recommended for first time players, as all hats and guns get introduced one by one, there. For returning players, the arcade is the place to be. 

Clicking L3 will have your character commit suicide. Use this, if a character somehow gets stuck.
